With the conclusion of yesterdays ShellShock Sunday #2, we have hosted six (6) successful tournaments for battalion 1944 (3x North American, and 3x European), paying out a total of $300 USD in prizes (self funded), and seeing hundreds of viewers on the few events we were able to stream coverage of. Meaning we have hosted more B44 events, and paid out more in prizes than any other organization currently backed by Bulkhead Interactive.
The turnout we are seeing in the EU events has been outstanding and we hope to see a full 64 teams participate in next weekends tournament. However, the NA events have been suffering badly from lack of participation and viewership (not only for FastFrags but other event hosts as well) in comparison.
We are working hard to speed up the process of moving things over into a league format in an effort to provide a more stable, long term platform for competitive Battalion 1944 where teams can grow and change with the game, and not be required to spend 10+ hours in a day to participate.
Until then, we urge NA players to team up (even just for one day) and sign up for tournaments to show support for our NA events! Without more support we will be forced to stop awarding prizes to the winning teams, and may also be forced to cancel events entirely.
