A brand new organisation has stepped into the Call of Duty (COD WW2) scene, acquiring two teams ahead of the upcoming CWL New Orleans Open event. The next major event for Call of Duty is only a week away, though roster changes and organisational shifts are still rife within the scene.
The first of two teams that GGEA has signed is the roster that was previously under Team Allegiance, consisting of Austin "Believe Smith", Mehran "Mayhem" Anjomshoa, Dakota "Nova" Williams, and Tristan "Spoof" Green - they'll be known as GGEA Orange. The second of the two teams is made up of John "Johnny" Cookson, Steven "Stamino" Damiano, Ethan "FA5TBALLA" Wedgeworth, and "SupremeAgility" - filling the roster of GGEA Blue.
GGEA is an unknown entity, though there are rumours that it could be an offshoot of Infinite Esports & Entertainment, the holding company for gaming organisations such as OpTic Gaming and Team Allegiance. It's worth noting that OpTic Gaming's new Call of Duty Coach, Tyler "TeePee" Polchow previously stated he'd be working with GGEA - though he didn't say in what capacity he'd contributing.
The official GGEA Twitter Account states information is "coming soon", nothing besides the rosters is known at this point. Nonetheless, the organisation will be looking to get its two teams through the open bracket in the coming week.
